Complete checklist for each route
1. Mandatory documentation:

Valid ADR transport card and up-to-date digital documentation.

Safety data sheets for each substance being transported.

Declaration of dangerous goods, especially if combining classes (3, 6.1, 8, 9).

Vehicle registration and technical inspection certificates.
2. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Chemical-resistant gloves, safety boots, helmet, and approved goggles.

Spill kit and absorbent materials checked.

Extinguishers within expiry date, correctly positioned and accessible.
3. Vehicle condition:

Complete check of brakes, tyres, and lights.

Inspection of the tanker: valves, hoses, connections, and ventilation systems.

Operational heating and air-conditioning systems, essential for certain sensitive substances.
4. Load and signage:

Proper stowage and securing of the load with straps and separators.

ADR labels visible, clean, and undamaged.

Warning signs placed according to regulations, visible from all angles.

Before setting off, carry out a quick visual check of the route: roadworks or tunnels that may affect safety.

Check the tanker telemetry, ensuring pressure and temperature sensors are calibrated.
