The second edition of Global Mobility Call concluded successfully, consolidating itself as a space for discussion and definition of the keys to the future of sustainable mobility.

Positioning itself as the main platform for collaboration on projects and investments between the public and private sector. The event was attended by 104 organisations, including 31 partners, companies, governmental entities, 50 Spanish and 13 international sectoral associations.

During the Global Mobility Call 2023, more than 8,000 professionals from 37 countries gathered at 120 sectoral tables and conferences. In addition, some 10,000 people were following the talks, conferences and debates via live streaming and the Live Connect digital platform.

The Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, closed the event by highlighting the importance of promoting ambitious projects in the field of sustainable mobility from Spain, considering Madrid as a global benchmark in this field. He stressed the need to address the challenges of mobility in order to preserve the environment and the well-being of citizens.

For his part, the Director General of IFEMA, Juan Arrizabalaga, pointed out that Spain has a fundamental role to play in the development of a solid mobility industry thanks to the efforts of companies, corporations and institutions from various sectors.

Global Mobility Call was structured around two areas: GMC Expo, which hosted the presentation of leading products and solutions for sustainable mobility and road safety by 104 exhibiting companies (76% more than in 2022). On the other hand, the congress space, GMC Congress, brought together renowned experts and opinion leaders, where key issues such as electrification and other alternative fuels in decarbonisation, multimodality of transport, and new infrastructures were addressed. Innovation, digitalisation and new technologies were also discussed, contributing to the creation of a new paradigm of sustainable, safe, affordable and innovative mobility worldwide.
